Крај мене све је пусто,

све тамно, мртво све.
Кад чежња остане сама,
ко лудило свуд буде тама

и ништа није као пре.

Пала је ноћ на осмех мој, на живот сав,
када је лик нестао твој у заборав.

Тражим га чежњом свом

а чежња нема снагу сна.
Да опет видим лик који волим,
знам да наде нема од мог чекања,

од чекања, од сећања.

Пала је ноћ на живот мој

и то је крај.

Everything is desolate by my side,

everything is dark, dead is everything.

When the longing stays alone,

darkness, like madness, gets everywhere

and nothing is like before.

The night has fallen on my smile, on my whole life,

when your face disappeared in oblivion.

I'm looking for it with all my longing,

but longing has no power of the dream.

To see again the face I love,

I know there is no hope in my waiting,

in waiting, in remembering.

The night has fallen on my life

and that's the end.
